Semax

Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide analogue of the adrenocorticotropic hormone fragment ACTH (4-10). Developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, it features a Pro-Gly-Pro (PGP) C-terminal sequence that protects the peptide from rapid enzymatic degradation, significantly extending its half-life and bioactivity within the central nervous system.
